Right click at the project name > Build Dependencies > Build Customizations… Setup the Build Customization as Assembly Language The Visual Studio will create the folder with the same project name automatically. Select “Place solution and project in the same directory” to prevent two nested folders with the same name. Set the save location to any preferred folder (I have precreated the folder C:\VSProj). So that, in the later step, we will save this project as a project template for further use. I’m not sure whether selecting other languages would work or not for assembly project.
