So, trying to get the Gaffam streets working. Tempted to try out the streets/canals/sewers of Himmelveil from World Works Games, but having just dropped $25 for the Gaffam buildings, $40 on Hirst Art molds, and $35 on materials, I'm tapped out for a few weeks until payday. Probably make 12 tiles in all here at first, to give some extra options. Right now, it looks like I'm going to use 9 'X1' squares, with each getting 4 ground tiles glued to them, to make semi-interchangeable tiles. I need to map out how I want to make the overall piece look, I think. The buildings themselves have been great thusfar. The road and sidewalk interaction can get a little frustrating at times as well, but that's a personal bit of inexperience with the multilayer nature of the PDF files, I think. (The grass could be mud or dirt as well, depending.) This would allow a park-like form, with four corner bits and 4 straght bits, if I wanted to add a green area, a graveyard, etc. For example, I wanted to use the 'sidewalk' texture on the 'west' side, 2 wide, with the other blocks as grass, and a "sidewalk" on the 'west' and 'north', the rest being grass.
